We just got rain gear today. The rainy season starts very soon, and we're expecting a wet winter. Water-proof rain jackets and pants are essential for 8 hour guard shifts outside.
Mine, however, are riddled with cigarette burn holes.

Unfortunately, the whole screaming thing to get your way, which works so well in Israeli civilian, does not work well in the army. Ranks put the kibosh on that.
And, most importantly, immigrants yelling rarely get respect. Sorry, you sound funny!
